Site Layout

This furnace is used for the melting of smaller volumes of metal for distribution to other activities, i.e. diecasting.

All molten metal is contained within a crucible and is therefore not subject to any oxidation from direct flame.

Accurate pouring of the molten metal is achieved by tilting the furnace structure with hydraulic rams and at the same time improved safety to operatives is achieved.

Electric, gas and oil heating systems can be accommodated on this type of furnace.
